Referrals for Dentists
Referring a patient for implants, a difficult extraction or a CBCT scan?
We welcome referrals from dentists across Dorset and South Somerset, and we make it simple. You choose how much you’d like us to do, we treat only what you’ve referred, and your patient comes back to you for everything else.
Why dentists refer to us
Your patient stays your patient. We treat only the referred tooth or area, then hand your patient back to you for their routine care.
You’re kept in the loop. We write to you after the consultation with our findings and plan, and again when treatment is finished.
You choose your involvement. Send them for a scan, have us place the implant for you to restore, or leave the whole case with us.
Three ways to refer
1. CBCT scan only
We take the scan for your own diagnosis and treatment planning.
2. Implant placement only
We plan and place the implant. Once it has integrated, your patient comes back to you for the restoration.
3. Implant and restoration
We look after everything, from planning to the final crown, bridge or full-arch restoration.
Complex cases and nervous patients welcome
We’re happy to take on the cases that are hard to manage in general practice:
• Difficult aesthetic cases in the smile zone
• Failing or failed implants: correction and replacement
• Complex bone grafting
• Difficult and surgical extractions
• Full-arch treatment for failing teeth or loose dentures
Nervous patients: we can carry out treatment under IV sedation, so patients who struggle with dental treatment can still have the care they need.
Not sure whether a case is suitable? Refer it with a note and we’ll assess and advise.
How it works
1. Send the referral using the form below, with any radiographs or photos, or call us on 01305 263492.
2. We contact your patient to arrange their consultation.
3. Consultation and plan. We assess your patient, give them a fixed written quote and write to you with our findings.
4. Treatment, as agreed with you and your patient.
5. Back to you. We send you a summary when treatment is complete and your patient returns to you for routine care.
Refer a patient
You’ll get an email confirming we’ve received it. Radiographs and photos help us plan, but aren’t essential.
Large CBCT/DICOM files won’t fit through the form. Mention them in the notes and we’ll arrange a secure transfer.

Yes. We offer IV sedation for implant surgery, extractions and other treatment. Just let us know on the form and we’ll discuss it with your patient at their consultation.
Implant treatment is private. Your patient gets a fixed written quote at their consultation before anything starts, and can spread the cost with 0% finance over 6 or 12 months, or longer plans, subject to status. See our implant costs.
Attach radiographs and clinical photos to the form (up to 10MB each). For CBCT/DICOM files or anything too large for the form, mention it in your notes and we’ll arrange a secure transfer.
